Force state of the ship's manifold: When the loading arm is completely balanced in the unloaded state, the forces acting on the tanker flange or manifold are only the forces acting on the cargo in the arm and the wind load. Depending on the inclination of the outer arm, the torque applied to the manifold may change from positive to negative. Arm action: Since the arm is designed to be balanced in the "unloaded" state, it is necessary to make the arm completely empty before connecting to or removing from the ship, otherwise it is dangerous. Removable swivel joint system: The removable swivel joint system allows the inspection and replacement of the seal ring without further disassembly of the arm during maintenance, so it is unnecessary to prepare lifting equipment and reduce downtime.
